Urban Dialogue Collective House
Urban Dialogue Collective House
Calibrated Coexistence is a pair of residential buildings placed in an urban redevelopment district. The two reinforced concrete structures rise to 32.5 and 43.3 meters and face each other across a new street. The facades are formed by modular screens of milled cedar and polished anodized aluminum, set in three calibrated inclinations. The angled screens moderate light and airflow and balance privacy with open views. Double height partitions at the ground floor carry planting that extends greenery into the streetscape.
