Optical Sorting Biological Cell Sorting
Optical Sorting Biological Cell Sorting
Optical Sorting is an optical cell sorting system developed for biomedical research. Cells are loaded into a microfluidic chip and guided by optical-induced dielectrophoresis, which sorts the samples without damage. An imaging system records the cells, and software analyzes the images in real time to identify and classify each cell. Sorted cells are then collected for culture and further study. Tens of thousands of single cells can be handled at the same time, so positive plasma cell screening can be completed in one day. The instrument measures 60 by 80 by 170 centimeters.
