M1 and M2 Multi Residential House
M1 and M2 Multi Residential House
M1 and M2 are two residential towers built as part of a larger urban development in Mississauga, Canada. M1 has 61 storeys and 780 units, while M2 has 62 storeys and 793 units. Each tower is formed from seven typical floor plate shapes that are skewed and rotated, so the corners shift about one metre from the floor below. Short shear walls follow the shift, which keeps the room layouts regular. A faceted glass podium carries a green roof and a south facing outdoor amenity space at ground and roof level.
