Danish Fuel Portable Speaker
Danish Fuel Portable Speaker
Danish Fuel is a portable speaker built inside an upcycled World War Two metal jerry can. Old rust and paint are removed by furnace treatment and sandblasting, and the can is then powder coated in a green satin finish. The front panel is made of molded plywood with a smoked oak top layer. The control plate, feet and marking plates are anodized aluminium. The speaker holds a woofer, a tweeter and a class D amplifier. Sound is played through Bluetooth or an auxiliary cable, and power comes from a battery or mains electricity. Each unit carries a unique identification number.
