Interaction Residence
Interaction Residence
Newton's Cradle is a 226 square meter residential interior in Macau, completed in August 2021. The design takes its name from the swinging spheres of a Newton's cradle, used as a symbol of shared energy and family interaction. Arches, curved lines and ovals appear across the rooms, turning flat shapes into three-dimensional forms when viewed from different angles. Large original windows bring in daylight and reduce the need for electric lighting. Wallpaper and artificial leather replace stone, and the open public area limits the use of partitions.
