Snail Bay City Exhibition Hall

Architecture

Snail Bay is a city exhibition hall in Kunming, China, created through the reconstruction and reuse of old buildings. The hall covers 6800 square metres and presents the future development of the Snail Bay area. The external walls were removed while the original structure and spatial pattern were preserved. A large glass curtain wall faces the natural landscape and opens the interior view. Lake water is drawn into the building, where a regular pool overlaps visually with the lake surface. A corridor connects indoor and outdoor space.
