Founded in 2020, JoRaku Design is a Taiwan-based studio dedicated to creating spaces that balance functionality, cultural depth, and aesthetics. The name “JoRaku,” inspired by the Japanese Sengoku period term for “journeying up to Kyoto,” reflects the pursuit of culture and refinement. The studio’s philosophy is to design spaces with stories, where tradition and contemporary sensibilities coexist, offering users unique and memorable experiences. Giovani Yang, founder of JoRaku Design, is an interior designer from Taiwan. He graduated in 2022 from Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD), Milan, where he developed his design philosophy rooted in both architectural heritage and innovation. In 2025, he received the Silver Award at the MUSE Design Awards. His work emphasizes “storytelling through space,” drawing inspiration from Eastern traditions and Italian design aesthetics.
