Boilerplate

All my works are altar pieces on the Altar of Life. Life is sacred. Life is shit. Life happens. I witness. I feel. I create. Being a Jew in a city which lost all it's Jewish population during WWII and living in a house where deported people lived before. Growing up in a neighborhood of Palestinian next to Holocaust survivors marked my existence. Being a woman. Having children. I am hopelessly embedded in the European art, The great Masters were my teachers. Yet I believe that art and beauty are universal, even cosmological. Life. Suffering never ends and becomes insufferable. Joy is new, every and each day. Making art is praying. I am a conceptual artist. All starts with a feeling, an idea. It starts with looking, witnessing, with movement through time and through space. Then comes the image and the materials. I draw, I made performances, I write, I take pictures, I shoot videos. Art is my playground
